My favourite dish!!

Pad Thai is once of my Thai favourite dish. I'd love to share recipe with everyone .Hope everyone 'll try do it at home. Enjoy your cooking. Good luck all!!

Ingredients (serves 4)
250g packet rice stick noodles
2 lemons, juiced
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 chicken breast fillets, thinly sliced
500g green prawns, peeled, deveined
3 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
2 small red chillies, deseeded, finely chopped
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup bean sprouts, tails removed
1/4 cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped, optional
1/2 cup coriander leaves
lime wedges, to serve

Method

1. Place noodles into a heat-proof bowl. Cover with hot water. Stand until tender. Drain. Rinse under cold water.

2. Combine lemon juice, fish sauce and sugar in a jug. Whisk with a fork to combine.

Heat a wok over high heat. Add oil. Swirl to coat. Add chicken. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until golden. Add prawns, onions and chillies. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until prawns turn pink. Add noodles. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

3. Add lemon juice mixture to wok. Toss to combine. Slowly pour eggs over noodles. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add sprouts. Toss well.

4. Spoon pad Thai onto plates. Sprinkle with peanuts and coriander leaves. Serve with lime or lemon wedges.

Hi everyone, I have been reading in this book and it something that attracted me it's about an animal that I like to share with everyone.

The Brush-tailed Possum is 60 Cm. long and it's a leaf-eater, was described in 1789 by a naturalist as (fox-like) in 1931-2 during the great slum period over a million skins were exported out of NSW.

The brush-tailed Possum has a very wide distribution in mainland and insular Australia and it can make a home anywhere ,eg : in a box, in tree holes , in rock holes.

Aussie Helpers !!

At the Health Expo 2009 our class interviewed Sue Martin, an Aussie helpers volunteer.

Aussie helpers is a group of volunteers who help collect food, money and help the farmers in the bush, e.g. in Victoria, Queensland, North Australia. The farmers need help because there were floods, drought and bush fires as well. Nobody pays for them to collect the food and take it up to volunteers. Also they do help people with depression.

There are about 30-40 volunteers all together.Volunteers come from all around Australia. They do come and go and put the time that they can.

There a lot farmers in the bush, some who are really poor and have a hard time with floods, bush fires and drought.

They've heard who needs help from the grapevine,because people have a lot of pride and they don't want to ask for help. The volunteers heard from somebody ringing and giving the information about somebody who needs help. SHe also called this way of getting information the bush telegraph, which is almost like a gossip chain.

Health Expo at Kogarah TAFE

Health Expo!!!
Last Wednesday I took part in the Health Expo.I was responsible for cooking Money bags they were to be sold $1 each.All the money collected was to be donated to Aussie helpers,My day was fun I was surprised how fast the food and my time went.After I finish I has look around the other stalls and saw some interesting food from other parts of the world.Some stalls were interesting for me, e.g. Breast Screen NSW ,because I have some concerns that's why I had a long conversation with her,the lady was very kind to me and gave me lot of helpful information.I'm so glad the lady was from Thailand because we were able to speak in Thai and she was our 2Nd customer.

So, It would be nice to take part in the Health Expo.

Our class out to Aquarium and Chinese Garden 2Nd June 2009

Aquarium and Chinese Garden Last Tuesday 2Nd June I went to the The Chinese Garden and the Aquarium with our class 2009 I took the train from Rockdale station at 9.13 to Town Hall station.I expected to meet our class inside the train but unfortunately I missed them.I'm start worried about what can I do because I don't know how to get there.I try to looked around to make sure that may be I might see some of my class mates somewhere in the train.I feel so relief when I met my class mates Desire's inside the train.I'm walked to say hello to him and complain about how I missing the class and after that about 2 station later we saw Nunang and we did called her to sit with us.We went to the Chinese Garden together and called Rosa's to ask about destination.We saw Rosa's and our class took a photos in front Chinese Garden,When we walk to her she also took photo of us.Chinese Garden it's the nice place to take a photos and very nice place to hire for the party's.Chinese building, bamboo tree,water fall, pond,lucky fish,In the middle of the garden has a water fall it's very nice to take a photo beyond that they has a coffee shop we has a coffee in there,At Aquarium my favorite moment is when we were in tunnel it's fantastic to see the aquatic life, they're incredible, beautiful and so amazing to see them so close like we did. We spent time and walk around the Aquarium looking at aquatic life.I would like to have a Marine Aquarium at home i think it would be more fun to watch than the TV. After that we has lunch in the food court, I has a bad experienced try to locate an ATM in the rain,the one I found didn't accept my card.Shortly after lunch we walked to Town Hall station coughed the train and I said good bye just before Rockdale station.
